System Monitoring service is the continual monitoring of your Production IT Environment usually through your Internet connection. CORE uses a variety of software packages to continuously monitor the Production IT Environment for performance, security and availability. Included with this service are the following items and their benefits: - Reports - A monthly report listing any and all changes or updates to the Production IT Environment will be forwarded to the customer. This report also provides performance data to show the customer weak areas in their environment, if any exist. - Remote Monitoring - Constant monitoring of critical IT Elements like servers, network devices, and circuits. Notification, if requested by the customer, is available on a 24 by 7 basis. Alarms can be set for performance and security issues. - Remote Management - Remote management allows CORE engineers to check logs and update software without having to be dispatched. The engineers can verify proper operation of servers and backups. In addition, they can routinely schedule and perform software updates to the Production IT Environment without having to be on-site. - Remote Diagnosis - This ability saves the customer money by greatly reducing travel time, response time, and productivity when problems do occur. Technical support personnel can isolate problems, make changes, and often get things running without having to be dispatched.
